The ECOSYSTEX Conference 2025 in Gothenburg was an inspiring platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. Over three days, BioFibreLoop actively contributed to discussions on sustainable textile solutions and future-oriented innovations. BioFibreLoop took part in this confernce with a booth, a talk and a co-creation workshop.
Our dedicated workshop focused on the potential of lignin as a versatile material for new applications. Creative ideas such as a hemp-based fishnet coated with lignin caused dynamic conversations about material properties, advantages over conventional alternatives, and upcoming challenges. It was remarkable to see how quickly participants, including those new to lignin, engaged with the topic. Their enthusiasm and creativity will serve as a strong foundation for future projects and partnerships.
